My name is Filip Milosavljević; my alter-ego for literature is A.S.Kaškanov (А.С.Кашканов), and this is my own little corner of the junkyard and cesspool known as the modern Web. I hope you'll stick around if you're tired of the rat race, endless consooming and lack of any thought that characterizes our "modern" age more than any other.
Those who know me will probably say I am a rather simple person on the outside and a very complicated person on the inside. I value integrity and independence and believe through my Cynic worldview that the wicked are many and honest men few. I try to balance this with applied Stoicism, but pessimism and scepticism around narratives and ideology make my future calling both that much more frustrating but also meaningful. I'm an introvert at heart and have little time for the meaningless triviality of the day. I try to remember death from time to time so that I don't waste any more of it.
I am nearing completion of my studies of Psychology at the University of Niš, Serbia. I expect to graduate in the first half of 2027.
I have undergone over 100 hours of self-therapy with a trained Psychoanalyst whom I also view as a mentor. I plan to start education for Kleinian Psychoanalysis and eventually finish Cognitive Behavioral therapy as well.I plan on combining the Clinical method (which combines the techniques of the interview, observation of behavior and objective clinical tests and batteries, all of which are hallmarks of Clinical Psychology) with the depth and commitiment of modern Object Relations Theory as well as the pragmatism, evidence-based methodology and efficiency of Cognitive Behavioral therapy. These three are rare to see used by one single person as their methodologies are vastly different (though CBT is very well integrated with Clinical Psychology, though in practice there are the clinician and therapist as two separate entities and usually separate people who do their own work), but I believe a holistic view is necessary to truly analyze, understand and help a person. My dislike of superficiality and a no-compromise attitude to almost everything contribute to this.
I also have vested interests in History, Philosophy, Literature, Operating Systems (particularly UNIX and Linux).
I plan to eventually study the first two at university because I think it will help me form a far more cohesive
view of the true nature of Reality, and that Cybernetics
could be the key to integrating Psychoanalysis, Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into
a cohesive whole, or at least, provide a bridge which all three separate yet interconnected disciplines can
settle their epistemological differences.
Thus, my synthetic worldview can be summarised as follows:
I also follow Geopolitics (due to the intersection of the first three above) and the occasional YouTuber on technology and gaming/cinema, though in fairness I am notoriously lazy at actually playing or watching : it often takes me years to actually watch something after I make a promise to somebody, regardless of the quality of the work in question. This is a result of me simply preferring podcasts, analysis, reviews / retrospectives and documentaries compared to what I view as distractions ( no matter the art form).
For this same reason, I prefer books to movies, and a one-on-one compared to large crowds. Despite acting during my childhood,
playing the piano for six years, going to marksmanship competitions and going to college, I increasingly feel uninterested
in most people (outside my future job) because of all the fakeness that is prevalent in the world, from the ingredients in our food to what people call
interactions (we all know how rare it is to find someone to be authentic with).
This website can thus be understood as a logical extension and end-point to my views on modern technology, social media, trivialities of everyday life (who won the game, what did the politician lie to us on TV today) and my need to spend time meaningfully and with purpose. Here you will rarely see any images and often just plain text. It is the internet I missed out on (in Serbia the masses got it only in the early 2010s) and which I view as the true purpose of the Internet : information to digest, not consume. If taken seriously and with purpose, the Internet can be extraordinary in its usefulness even today, and I owe much to my informal education (such as on Geopolitics and me learning English) thanks to it.
This site features mostly raw HTML, zero trackers and zero analytics. It is a passion project of mine and I will do my best to stick to my principles of not wasting the reader's time as much as I can. Please enjoy.
In accordance to principles, there are no comment sections anywhere on this website. If you have something to say to me, regardless of what it is, you can write to ficonni64@gmail.com. I'll do my best to be courteous and take feedback seriously but I expect out of you to try not waste my time as much as I value not wasting yours. As long as it's done in good faith, I'll do my best to respond quickly and kindly. We may not face any reperocussions for our behaviors online, but that makes it even more important to actually take interactions thoughfully, since we're most authentic when we think we're not being observed.
Never had Instagram or TikTok, deleted my Facebook account a long time ago (used it only to contact classmates anyways) and I cringe at midwits on LinkedIn.
